STATEMENT ABOUT INTERLINEATION

ENTRELINHAS é uma técnica singular, desenvolvida ao longo de anos de experimentação artística, na qual fios são colados à tela para criar formas e figuras sugeridas. Esse processo permite tanto a criação espontânea e subconsciente quanto a representação intencional de imagens ou cenas específicas — como a linha de trem em "Tesla Station" ou a Torre Eiffel em "Purple Tower". Ao conferir a cada figura seu próprio espaço, "ENTRELINHAS" transforma o desafio da tela em branco em uma experiência visual envolvente, resultando em composições abstratas e figurativas — a exemplo da trilogia "The Black Butterfly" —, convidando o espectador a interpretar a obra sob múltiplos ângulos.

Quando pego uma quantidade de linhas para aplicar na tela, é como se o desenho já estivesse contido naquele emaranhado em minhas mãos, sinto como se estivesse segurando vários lápis ao mesmo tempo.

INTERLINEATION is a unique technique developed through years of artistic experimentation, where strings are glued onto the canvas to create forms and implied figures. This process allows for both spontaneous, subconscious creation and the intentional depiction of specific images or scenes—such as the train line in “Tesla Station” or the Eiffel Tower in “Purple Tower.” By giving each figure its own space, "INTERLINEATION" transforms the challenge of the blank canvas into an engaging visual experience, resulting in abstract and figurative designs—such as The Black Butterfly Trilogy, and inviting viewers to interpret the artwork from multiple angles.

When I get an amount of strings to apply on the canvas It's as if the design was already in that tangle of strings in my hand and I feel like I have lots of pencils at the same time.
